Narrative:
Departed palomar airport, received advisories and TCA clearance from san diego approach. Exited TCA where upon controller terminated radar service and advised me to contact myf tower. Myf advised me to squawk XXXX and remain on present heading (150 degree) and that she would call my downwind for runway 23. Remained on 150 degree heading for what seemed to be a lengthy time and eventually noticed an airliner crossing my flight path (possibly on final into lindbergh airport). I began an immediate turn to the north and at the same time the controller told me to squawk 'identify.' she then told me to fly 360 degrees and join the left downwind for runway 23. It seemed as though she had placed me on the 150 degree heading and then forgot to call my downwind. Subsequently I felt as though I had been vectored into the san diego TCA without clearance, although no mention of it was made by ATC folks. Controller sounded overworked and stressed on the radio.

Title: UNAUTHORIZED PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE IN PROX OF TCA.
Narrative: DEPARTED PALOMAR ARPT, RECEIVED ADVISORIES AND TCA CLRNC FROM SAN DIEGO APCH. EXITED TCA WHERE UPON CTLR TERMINATED RADAR SVC AND ADVISED ME TO CONTACT MYF TWR. MYF ADVISED ME TO SQUAWK XXXX AND REMAIN ON PRESENT HDG (150 DEG) AND THAT SHE WOULD CALL MY DOWNWIND FOR RWY 23. REMAINED ON 150 DEG HDG FOR WHAT SEEMED TO BE A LENGTHY TIME AND EVENTUALLY NOTICED AN AIRLINER XING MY FLT PATH (POSSIBLY ON FINAL INTO LINDBERGH ARPT). I BEGAN AN IMMEDIATE TURN TO THE N AND AT THE SAME TIME THE CTLR TOLD ME TO SQUAWK 'IDENT.' SHE THEN TOLD ME TO FLY 360 DEGS AND JOIN THE L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 23. IT SEEMED AS THOUGH SHE HAD PLACED ME ON THE 150 DEG HDG AND THEN FORGOT TO CALL MY DOWNWIND. SUBSEQUENTLY I FELT AS THOUGH I HAD BEEN VECTORED INTO THE SAN DIEGO TCA WITHOUT CLRNC, ALTHOUGH NO MENTION OF IT WAS MADE BY ATC FOLKS. CTLR SOUNDED OVERWORKED AND STRESSED ON THE RADIO.
