Narrative:
We were parked at gate at ord. We were cleared to taxi to runway 32L at the T-1 intersection by way of the inner circular to C-11, then T-2 to the 14-32 parallel to T-1. As the captain taxied up to the T-1 intersection I advised ord tower that we didn't have our final load closeout. Ord tower told us to taxi up to the e-w parallel and hold short of 32L so the captain did. Because of the location of the nose wheel on the widebody transport you have to put the nose of the aircraft past the edge, or on the edge of the taxiway you want to turn on. When you do this it looks like you have gone past where you want to turn. The captain stopped the aircraft in that position. We didn't have the correct tps for runway 32L at intersection T-1, so the flight engineer requested the 32L data from the ACARS. Shortly we got the new data and the load close out for 32L. The flight engineer was running the before takeoff checklist, and the ord tower called and I told them that we had our numbers and we were ready for takeoff. The ord tower cleared us for takeoff on 32L from e-w parallel. The captain started to taxi and I was busy checking that the close out numbers we had would allow for a legal takeoff from the e-w intersection at 32L. For some reason the captain thought that the next taxiway ahead was the e-w taxiway, but it was the e- west runway 27L. We looked to see if there was any traffic and there was 1 aircraft on a 4 mi final for 27L. By the time I realized that it was runway 27L the captain was starting to pull out onto the runway. The captain said that he knew he should have turned off the e-w parallel taxiway for 32L but that he had gone down too far, and that the best thing to do was to taxi down 27L 400 ft and turn onto 32L real quick since we were cleared for takeoff and there was an aircraft on final for 27L. About that time the ord tower called and said that we were not cleared to taxi that way and cleared us for takeoff again for 32L. The problem was caused by getting in a hurry for takeoff because we didn't want to block traffic at the end of the runway. The best way to prevent this from happening again is to double check every turn you make and don't let the ground or tower try to hustle you to speed up and make mistakes.

Title: WDB TAXIES TO WRONG TAXIWAY. ENTERS RWY, TAXIES OFF TO PROPER RWY FOR TKOF.
Narrative: WE WERE PARKED AT GATE AT ORD. WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 32L AT THE T-1 INTXN BY WAY OF THE INNER CIRCULAR TO C-11, THEN T-2 TO THE 14-32 PARALLEL TO T-1. AS THE CAPT TAXIED UP TO THE T-1 INTXN I ADVISED ORD TWR THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE OUR FINAL LOAD CLOSEOUT. ORD TWR TOLD US TO TAXI UP TO THE E-W PARALLEL AND HOLD SHORT OF 32L SO THE CAPT DID. BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION OF THE NOSE WHEEL ON THE WDB YOU HAVE TO PUT THE NOSE OF THE ACFT PAST THE EDGE, OR ON THE EDGE OF THE TAXIWAY YOU WANT TO TURN ON. WHEN YOU DO THIS IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE GONE PAST WHERE YOU WANT TO TURN. THE CAPT STOPPED THE ACFT IN THAT POS. WE DIDN'T HAVE THE CORRECT TPS FOR RWY 32L AT INTXN T-1, SO THE FLT ENGINEER REQUESTED THE 32L DATA FROM THE ACARS. SHORTLY WE GOT THE NEW DATA AND THE LOAD CLOSE OUT FOR 32L. THE FLT ENGINEER WAS RUNNING THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST, AND THE ORD TWR CALLED AND I TOLD THEM THAT WE HAD OUR NUMBERS AND WE WERE READY FOR TKOF. THE ORD TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF ON 32L FROM E-W PARALLEL. THE CAPT STARTED TO TAXI AND I WAS BUSY CHKING THAT THE CLOSE OUT NUMBERS WE HAD WOULD ALLOW FOR A LEGAL TKOF FROM THE E-W INTXN AT 32L. FOR SOME REASON THE CAPT THOUGHT THAT THE NEXT TAXIWAY AHEAD WAS THE E-W TAXIWAY, BUT IT WAS THE E- W RWY 27L. WE LOOKED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY TFC AND THERE WAS 1 ACFT ON A 4 MI FINAL FOR 27L. BY THE TIME I REALIZED THAT IT WAS RWY 27L THE CAPT WAS STARTING TO PULL OUT ONTO THE RWY. THE CAPT SAID THAT HE KNEW HE SHOULD HAVE TURNED OFF THE E-W PARALLEL TAXIWAY FOR 32L BUT THAT HE HAD GONE DOWN TOO FAR, AND THAT THE BEST THING TO DO WAS TO TAXI DOWN 27L 400 FT AND TURN ONTO 32L REAL QUICK SINCE WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF AND THERE WAS AN ACFT ON FINAL FOR 27L. ABOUT THAT TIME THE ORD TWR CALLED AND SAID THAT WE WERE NOT CLRED TO TAXI THAT WAY AND CLRED US FOR TKOF AGAIN FOR 32L. THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY GETTING IN A HURRY FOR TKOF BECAUSE WE DIDN'T WANT TO BLOCK TFC AT THE END OF THE RWY. THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN IS TO DOUBLE CHK EVERY TURN YOU MAKE AND DON'T LET THE GND OR TWR TRY TO HUSTLE YOU TO SPD UP AND MAKE MISTAKES.
