Narrative:
I was put on a data side of a radar sector to help a person that was almost overwhelmed by traffic and complexity -- as I helped to coordinate and catch up. Conflict alert activated and the radar person vectored air carrier X and military Y to miss each other. The vector wasn't able to keep the required 5 mi separation. The radar display was hampered by data blocks over targets

Title: ACR X HAD LTSS FROM MIL Y. SYS ERROR.
Narrative: I WAS PUT ON A DATA SIDE OF A RADAR SECTOR TO HELP A PERSON THAT WAS ALMOST OVERWHELMED BY TFC AND COMPLEXITY -- AS I HELPED TO COORDINATE AND CATCH UP. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED AND THE RADAR PERSON VECTORED ACR X AND MIL Y TO MISS EACH OTHER. THE VECTOR WASN'T ABLE TO KEEP THE REQUIRED 5 MI SEPARATION. THE RADAR DISPLAY WAS HAMPERED BY DATA BLOCKS OVER TARGETS
