Narrative:
After landing at cdg paris, flight was instructed to taxi to gate xy. Taxiway was not specified. Captain was taxiing aircraft. He turned into gate area which required a left turn of approximately 130 degrees. As the turn progressed, the captain used min power to keep aircraft turning. After parking at gate, station manager entered the cockpit and informed us of some engine blast damage done while we were maneuvering aircraft. The captain and I were unaware of building or other obstacles behind the aircraft during the turn into the gate. None were on airport diagram. At no time did the taxi guideman signal a stop signal or a slow down signal, ground control said nothing. Comment -- taxi area could have been better marked (arrows). Taxi instructions could have been more specific. Airport plate diagrams should be updated with temporary building displayed and appropriate cautions noted. Blast fence around building and parked cars would have offered protection from sand and gravel blast damage.

Title: TAXIING TFC CREATES GND VEHICLE DAMAGE FROM JET BLAST ENCOUNTER.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG AT CDG PARIS, FLT WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO GATE XY. TAXIWAY WAS NOT SPECIFIED. CAPT WAS TAXIING ACFT. HE TURNED INTO GATE AREA WHICH REQUIRED A L TURN OF APPROX 130 DEGS. AS THE TURN PROGRESSED, THE CAPT USED MIN PWR TO KEEP ACFT TURNING. AFTER PARKING AT GATE, STATION MGR ENTERED THE COCKPIT AND INFORMED US OF SOME ENG BLAST DAMAGE DONE WHILE WE WERE MANEUVERING ACFT. THE CAPT AND I WERE UNAWARE OF BUILDING OR OTHER OBSTACLES BEHIND THE ACFT DURING THE TURN INTO THE GATE. NONE WERE ON ARPT DIAGRAM. AT NO TIME DID THE TAXI GUIDEMAN SIGNAL A STOP SIGNAL OR A SLOW DOWN SIGNAL, GND CTL SAID NOTHING. COMMENT -- TAXI AREA COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER MARKED (ARROWS). TAXI INSTRUCTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN MORE SPECIFIC. ARPT PLATE DIAGRAMS SHOULD BE UPDATED WITH TEMPORARY BUILDING DISPLAYED AND APPROPRIATE CAUTIONS NOTED. BLAST FENCE AROUND BUILDING AND PARKED CARS WOULD HAVE OFFERED PROTECTION FROM SAND AND GRAVEL BLAST DAMAGE.
