We got a TCASII RA -- we climbed to 11400 ft then returned to 11000. Just prior to climbing, we questioned the controller about traffic, he replied VFR at 3 O'clock.

Narrative: WE GOT A TCASII RA -- WE CLBED TO 11400 FT THEN RETURNED TO 11000. JUST PRIOR TO CLBING, WE QUESTIONED THE CTLR ABOUT TFC, HE REPLIED VFR AT 3 O'CLOCK.
