Narrative:
Received a TCASII RA at 24000 ft. ATC had pointed out another aircraft at 23000 ft at our 10 O'clock position. TCASII indicated the MTR was 800 ft below our altitude, as the MTR approached got a TCASII TA followed by an RA to climb. We climbed about 400 ft above our assigned altitude and TCASII indicated no conflict. Advised ATC of our actions then continued our flight at 2400 ft.

Title: CAPT OF A LGT ACR ACFT RESPONDED TO A TCASII RA AND CLBED ABOVE ASSIGNED ALT RESULTING IN CLRING THE TCASII WARNING.
Narrative: RECEIVED A TCASII RA AT 24000 FT. ATC HAD POINTED OUT ANOTHER ACFT AT 23000 FT AT OUR 10 O'CLOCK POS.
