Narrative:
We continually complain about incompetent WX observing. A pilot calls on arinc -- 5 scattered to near broken, VFR departure required. I called ghb (governor's harbor bahamas) company personnel to update WX. Report was 5-10 mins after aircraft departed. The report was 30 scattered with scattered layers above. Crew reported cloud tops 20 MSL. Accurate WX reports from a VFR field are crucial. Refusal to dispatch to ghb commence today on my part with encouragement of others to follow suit.
