Narrative:

I was practicing for my private pilot flight check. I was doing touch-and-goes at a local uncontrolled field. I called for a TA. The winds were calm. The other traffic in the pattern was using runway 7 (7-25). I had done 4 touch-and-goes. The other traffic departed the pattern. I was on downwind for another touch-and-go. As I started my turn to base, I noticed another airplane flying at approximately 1700 MSL (400 ft AGL) through the approach end for runway 7. Pattern altitude is 2000 ft, field elevation is 1200 ft. I maintained altitude and turned to the right, away from the other aircraft. The aircraft continued at the same altitude, flying at a 60 degree angle over the approach end of the runway. I continued my approach. As I touched down on the runway, the other aircraft, now south and parallel to the field, radioed that I was using the wrong runway! Up to this point, this aircraft had made no radio calls regarding position, intentions, or to ask for an advisory. When he made his call to me, I was next to the windsock, which was limp. However, the sock was favoring runway 7 (straight down the runway) on the previous touch and go, as I throttled up and took off, the other airplane was crossing the departure end of the runway. Once again, I had to take evasive action to avoid the aircraft. As I turned crosswind, the other aircraft, now north of the field, radioed that he was heading back to agc (home base for myself and the other aircraft). He did not land at G08. To summarize the incident, I was using proper uncontrolled field procedures making all radio calls, etc. The other aircraft was flying around the uncontrolled field, in and out of the pattern, at a dangerous altitude without making any radio calls, except to chastise me! Apparently, he thought that it was more important to observe and critique my flying, than it was to follow proper and safe uncontrolled airport technique.

Title: SPI ENCOUNTERED NMAC WITH ANOTHER ACFT IN THE TFC PATTERN OF A NON CTLED ARPT.

Narrative: I WAS PRACTICING FOR MY PRIVATE PLT FLT CHK. I WAS DOING TOUCH-AND-GOES AT A LCL UNCTLED FIELD. I CALLED FOR A TA. THE WINDS WERE CALM. THE OTHER TFC IN THE PATTERN WAS USING RWY 7 (7-25). I HAD DONE 4 TOUCH-AND-GOES. THE OTHER TFC DEPARTED THE PATTERN. I WAS ON DOWNWIND FOR ANOTHER TOUCH-AND-GO. AS I STARTED MY TURN TO BASE, I NOTICED ANOTHER AIRPLANE FLYING AT APPROX 1700 MSL (400 FT AGL) THROUGH THE APCH END FOR RWY 7. PATTERN ALT IS 2000 FT, FIELD ELEVATION IS 1200 FT. I MAINTAINED ALT AND TURNED TO THE R, AWAY FROM THE OTHER ACFT. THE ACFT CONTINUED AT THE SAME ALT, FLYING AT A 60 DEG ANGLE OVER THE APCH END OF THE RWY. I CONTINUED MY APCH. AS I TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RWY, THE OTHER ACFT, NOW S AND PARALLEL TO THE FIELD, RADIOED THAT I WAS USING THE WRONG RWY! UP TO THIS POINT, THIS ACFT HAD MADE NO RADIO CALLS REGARDING POS, INTENTIONS, OR TO ASK FOR AN ADVISORY. WHEN HE MADE HIS CALL TO ME, I WAS NEXT TO THE WINDSOCK, WHICH WAS LIMP. HOWEVER, THE SOCK WAS FAVORING RWY 7 (STRAIGHT DOWN THE RWY) ON THE PREVIOUS TOUCH AND GO, AS I THROTTLED UP AND TOOK OFF, THE OTHER AIRPLANE WAS XING THE DEP END OF THE RWY. ONCE AGAIN, I HAD TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID THE ACFT. AS I TURNED XWIND, THE OTHER ACFT, NOW N OF THE FIELD, RADIOED THAT HE WAS HDG BACK TO AGC (HOME BASE FOR MYSELF AND THE OTHER ACFT). HE DID NOT LAND AT G08. TO SUMMARIZE THE INCIDENT, I WAS USING PROPER UNCTLED FIELD PROCS MAKING ALL RADIO CALLS, ETC. THE OTHER ACFT WAS FLYING AROUND THE UNCTLED FIELD, IN AND OUT OF THE PATTERN, AT A DANGEROUS ALT WITHOUT MAKING ANY RADIO CALLS, EXCEPT TO CHASTISE ME! APPARENTLY, HE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO OBSERVE AND CRITIQUE MY FLYING, THAN IT WAS TO FOLLOW PROPER AND SAFE UNCTLED ARPT TECHNIQUE.
