Narrative:
Helicopter hovering beside runway caused me to lose control on landing. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information. Reporter stated in a telephone conversation that this incident happened during roll-out after a good landing. The aircraft was caught by the helicopter rotorwash causing the aircraft to go off the side of the runway and into a drainage ditch. The aircraft received minor damage to the propeller and one landing gear. He further stated that the FAA had been investigating this matter with him.
