Narrative:

While shooting a missed approach into pittsburgh, ks, we had turned back outbound from the NDB. We were at 2600 MSL as assigned by center. They asked us to verify mode C readout. They also gave us a new altitude setting which was quite different from the one unicom gave us. This could have made our altitude off, however, I don't recall by how much. I was very close to our assigned altitude, altitude least within 100 ft. ZKC never said anymore about it to us after this. We always remained within 100 ft of our assigned altitude. I feel there should be better coordination of altimeter settings between center and unicoms that report settings.
