Narrative:
On descent to lvk airport at 3000 ft, I saw a blue and white small aircraft Y about 500 ft away in my 9 O'clock position heading toward me, about 210 degrees magnetic. I was heading 120 degrees magnetic and the other plane pulled up and turned right to pass behind me. I did not deviate course. I was flying a gold and white small aircraft X. Shows need to see and avoid.
