Narrative:
While en route to las approximately 75 mi west of hayes, ks, the #1 generator failed. Additionally, the APU was MEL'd inoperative. All appropriate checklists were accomplished, and I elected to deviate to den for safety reasons. Upon arrival in den appropriate log entry was made. My company was notified. Supplemental information from acn 216484: we decided to divert to den the nearest suitable airport (in the interest of safety) to effect repairs.

Title: AN MLG ACR LOST A GENERATOR. AS THE APU WAS ALSO INOP PER THE MEL, THEY LANDED AT AN ENRTE ARPT.
Narrative: WHILE ENRTE TO LAS APPROX 75 MI W OF HAYES, KS, THE #1 GENERATOR FAILED. ADDITIONALLY, THE APU WAS MEL'D INOP. ALL APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS WERE ACCOMPLISHED, AND I ELECTED TO DEVIATE TO DEN FOR SAFETY REASONS. UPON ARR IN DEN APPROPRIATE LOG ENTRY WAS MADE. MY COMPANY WAS NOTIFIED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 216484: WE DECIDED TO DIVERT TO DEN THE NEAREST SUITABLE ARPT (IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY) TO EFFECT REPAIRS.
