Narrative:
Me and my student were cleared to land on runway 17R after training maneuvers west of the airport. On the after landing ground roll when the airplane slowed down to taxiing speed, my student unintentionally turned the airplane around on 17R caused by uneven braking effect and too hard use of the brakes. Before I corrected my student's error to turn the airplane back to the original line-up the tower asked why we did a 180 degree turn on 17R without clearance and told us to call the tower immediately. There was no immediate traffic for landing so we could have turned around back to original line-up without conflicting other traffic. Instead the controller told us to back-taxi on 17R all the way for exit which took much longer time than for us to correct our unintentional turn.

Title: TRAINEE DURING A PRACTICE MULTI-ENG LNDG LOST CTL OF THE ACFT DURING ROLLOUT RESULTING IN AN UNAUTHORIZED 180 DEG TURN ON THE RWY.
Narrative: ME AND MY STUDENT WERE CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 17R AFTER TRAINING MANEUVERS W OF THE ARPT. ON THE AFTER LNDG GND ROLL WHEN THE AIRPLANE SLOWED DOWN TO TAXIING SPD, MY STUDENT UNINTENTIONALLY TURNED THE AIRPLANE AROUND ON 17R CAUSED BY UNEVEN BRAKING EFFECT AND TOO HARD USE OF THE BRAKES. BEFORE I CORRECTED MY STUDENT'S ERROR TO TURN THE AIRPLANE BACK TO THE ORIGINAL LINE-UP THE TWR ASKED WHY WE DID A 180 DEG TURN ON 17R WITHOUT CLRNC AND TOLD US TO CALL THE TWR IMMEDIATELY. THERE WAS NO IMMEDIATE TFC FOR LNDG SO WE COULD HAVE TURNED AROUND BACK TO ORIGINAL LINE-UP WITHOUT CONFLICTING OTHER TFC. INSTEAD THE CTLR TOLD US TO BACK-TAXI ON 17R ALL THE WAY FOR EXIT WHICH TOOK MUCH LONGER TIME THAN FOR US TO CORRECT OUR UNINTENTIONAL TURN.
