Narrative:

After landing runway 28L at pit, tower requested aircraft's tail number. In response to our query why this information was requested, we were informed that apparently we had landed short of the displaced threshold markers. On arrival at gate both pilots performed a walk around accompanied by 2 mechanics. No evidence of damage or contact with any foreign object was found. 2 telephone conversations with tower and county maintenance indicated that visual inspection of runway showed signs of snow fencing marking displaced threshold being disturbed. Approach to runway 28L was conducted in visual conditions with speed and sink stabilized. Touchdown and rollout seemed normal in all respects. Supplemental information from acn 219662: 2 telephone conversations with allegheny county maintenance followed. First -- in pit and they had taken a quick look and snow fencing guarding some stanchions had blown down and they would go back to take a second look after they changed landing runway. Second -- contact made clt. At that time allegheny maintenance advised that it appeared the nose wheel struck a sand bag. A maintenance note was made in logbook and another inspection was made to aircraft. No evidence or damage was found on aircraft.

Title: ACR LGT ACFT LANDED SHORT STRIKING THE THRESHOLD FENCE AND SAND BAG BARRIER.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG RWY 28L AT PIT, TWR REQUESTED ACFT'S TAIL NUMBER. IN RESPONSE TO OUR QUERY WHY THIS INFO WAS REQUESTED, WE WERE INFORMED THAT APPARENTLY WE HAD LANDED SHORT OF THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD MARKERS. ON ARR AT GATE BOTH PLTS PERFORMED A WALK AROUND ACCOMPANIED BY 2 MECHS. NO EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE OR CONTACT WITH ANY FOREIGN OBJECT WAS FOUND. 2 TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH TWR AND COUNTY MAINT INDICATED THAT VISUAL INSPECTION OF RWY SHOWED SIGNS OF SNOW FENCING MARKING DISPLACED THRESHOLD BEING DISTURBED. APCH TO RWY 28L WAS CONDUCTED IN VISUAL CONDITIONS WITH SPD AND SINK STABILIZED. TOUCHDOWN AND ROLLOUT SEEMED NORMAL IN ALL RESPECTS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 219662: 2 TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH ALLEGHENY COUNTY MAINT FOLLOWED. FIRST -- IN PIT AND THEY HAD TAKEN A QUICK LOOK AND SNOW FENCING GUARDING SOME STANCHIONS HAD BLOWN DOWN AND THEY WOULD GO BACK TO TAKE A SECOND LOOK AFTER THEY CHANGED LNDG RWY. SECOND -- CONTACT MADE CLT. AT THAT TIME ALLEGHENY MAINT ADVISED THAT IT APPEARED THE NOSE WHEEL STRUCK A SAND BAG. A MAINT NOTE WAS MADE IN LOGBOOK AND ANOTHER INSPECTION WAS MADE TO ACFT. NO EVIDENCE OR DAMAGE WAS FOUND ON ACFT.
