Narrative:
I took off from vny airport. WX conditions were VFR. Took off 16R vny, made a northwest departure, climbing to 2500 ft until clear of the burbank arsa. At that point I started a climb to altitude of 6500 ft MSL. Just north of simi valley mountains, I leveled off and started my descent back to vny through new hall pass (north of vny) where I terminated the flight (at vny). The next day on sun, I was told by a fellow pilot, who was flying the same type of aircraft, he had to call burbank TRACON when he landed back at vny. In doing so he was advised that an aircraft of his type was involved in a near midair with an medium large transport going into burbank and that the pilots of the medium large transport were filing a report. That's when I found out about the incident. If it was my plane involved in the near midair, I never saw the medium large transport.

Title: POSSIBLE NMAC.
Narrative: I TOOK OFF FROM VNY ARPT. WX CONDITIONS WERE VFR. TOOK OFF 16R VNY, MADE A NW DEP, CLBING TO 2500 FT UNTIL CLR OF THE BURBANK ARSA. AT THAT POINT I STARTED A CLB TO ALT OF 6500 FT MSL. JUST N OF SIMI VALLEY MOUNTAINS, I LEVELED OFF AND STARTED MY DSCNT BACK TO VNY THROUGH NEW HALL PASS (N OF VNY) WHERE I TERMINATED THE FLT (AT VNY). THE NEXT DAY ON SUN, I WAS TOLD BY A FELLOW PLT, WHO WAS FLYING THE SAME TYPE OF ACFT, HE HAD TO CALL BURBANK TRACON WHEN HE LANDED BACK AT VNY. IN DOING SO HE WAS ADVISED THAT AN ACFT OF HIS TYPE WAS INVOLVED IN A NEAR MIDAIR WITH AN MLG GOING INTO BURBANK AND THAT THE PLTS OF THE MLG WERE FILING A RPT. THAT'S WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE INCIDENT. IF IT WAS MY PLANE INVOLVED IN THE NEAR MIDAIR, I NEVER SAW THE MLG.
