Narrative:
Cleared for the ILS to runway 5 orf. Approach had handed us off to tower and the tower had cleared us to land. We were just slightly outside the final approach fix and the captain called the runway in sight. We then were advised of a low altitude alert by the tower. We advised them that we had the runway in sight and after the runway was called, we were cleared to land again, and for the visual. There was no conflict or any further questions.
