Narrative:
On extension of landing gear, did not have any indication of nose gear extension. Missed approach at 500 ft AGL. Tower said gear appeared down. 2 other acrs awaiting takeoff said gear appeared down but 'trailing.' emergency declared. Appropriate checklists were performed by the cockpit and cabin crew members. Normal landing and rollout. Maintenance pinned landing gear on the runway after aircraft was brought to a complete and normal stop.

Title: NOSE WHEEL ON LGT FAILS TO EXTEND WITH NORMAL MEANS. EMER DECLARED AFTER GAR.
Narrative: ON EXTENSION OF LNDG GEAR, DID NOT HAVE ANY INDICATION OF NOSE GEAR EXTENSION. MISSED APCH AT 500 FT AGL. TWR SAID GEAR APPEARED DOWN. 2 OTHER ACRS AWAITING TKOF SAID GEAR APPEARED DOWN BUT 'TRAILING.' EMER DECLARED. APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS WERE PERFORMED BY THE COCKPIT AND CABIN CREW MEMBERS. NORMAL LNDG AND ROLLOUT. MAINT PINNED LNDG GEAR ON THE RWY AFTER ACFT WAS BROUGHT TO A COMPLETE AND NORMAL STOP.
