Narrative:
We arrived at the gate (at laguardia) and I performed a 'through flight' (after the passenger deplaned). Afterward I went into the terminal to get something to eat and returned to the aircraft at approximately XA15. Upon my return, the captain informed me the FAA had inspected the aircraft and found 2 small surface abrasions on the lower fuselage just forward of the right wing root. I went out. Met with the FAA inspector and he showed me the indentations. They were located in the fiberglass panel just forward of the air conditioning inlet scoops. It looked as if something sharp had struck the panel (twice). The perforations were approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and did not completely penetrate the panel. Maintenance 'speed taped' over the abrasions and the aircraft was released (for flight) and departed.

Title: FAA INSPECTOR FINDS SURFACE ABRASIONS ON LOWER FUSELAGE. SPD TAPE APPLIED ND ACFT RELEASED.
Narrative: WE ARRIVED AT THE GATE (AT LAGUARDIA) AND I PERFORMED A 'THROUGH FLT' (AFTER THE PAX DEPLANED). AFTERWARD I WENT INTO THE TERMINAL TO GET SOMETHING TO EAT AND RETURNED TO THE ACFT AT APPROX XA15. UPON MY RETURN, THE CAPT INFORMED ME THE FAA HAD INSPECTED THE ACFT AND FOUND 2 SMALL SURFACE ABRASIONS ON THE LOWER FUSELAGE JUST FORWARD OF THE R WING ROOT. THE PERFORATIONS WERE APPROX 1/8 TO 1/4 INCH THICK AND DID NOT COMPLETELY PENETRATE THE PANEL. MAINT 'SPD TAPED' OVER THE ABRASIONS AND THE ACFT WAS RELEASED (FOR FLT) AND DEPARTED.
