Narrative:
I was inbound to sat international, talking to approach on 125.7. The controller handed me off to 125.1, so I acknowledged and changed frequencys. When I attempted initial contact on 125.1, I heard no response. I tried to contact the tower 5 or 6 more times on both 125.1 and 125.7 before concluding that I had a radio failure. I circled the field once at 2500 ft MSL studying the traffic, wind conditions and watching the tower for a light signal. I didn't see a signal in the tower, so I decided to land on runway 12L, pending traffic. I didn't see any conflicting traffic while on downwind or base leg, so I landed. After landing, I stopped at the hold short line runway runway 12R to look for a signal from the tower and check the traffic on the runway. I saw no light signal in the tower, and aircraft on final. The aircraft was still 5 mi out (by my estimation), so I quickly crossed 12R. After checking for traffic on the taxiways, I taxied to the parking area and secured the aircraft. I did squawk 7600 as soon as I realized my radio had failed.

Title: STUDENT PLT HAS RADIO FAILURE.
Narrative: I WAS INBOUND TO SAT INTL, TALKING TO APCH ON 125.7. THE CTLR HANDED ME OFF TO 125.1, SO I ACKNOWLEDGED AND CHANGED FREQS. WHEN I ATTEMPTED INITIAL CONTACT ON 125.1, I HEARD NO RESPONSE. I TRIED TO CONTACT THE TWR 5 OR 6 MORE TIMES ON BOTH 125.1 AND 125.7 BEFORE CONCLUDING THAT I HAD A RADIO FAILURE. I CIRCLED THE FIELD ONCE AT 2500 FT MSL STUDYING THE TFC, WIND CONDITIONS AND WATCHING THE TWR FOR A LIGHT SIGNAL. I DIDN'T SEE A SIGNAL IN THE TWR, SO I DECIDED TO LAND ON RWY 12L, PENDING TFC. I DIDN'T SEE ANY CONFLICTING TFC WHILE ON DOWNWIND OR BASE LEG, SO I LANDED. AFTER LNDG, I STOPPED AT THE HOLD SHORT LINE RWY RWY 12R TO LOOK FOR A SIGNAL FROM THE TWR AND CHK THE TFC ON THE RWY. I SAW NO LIGHT SIGNAL IN THE TWR, AND ACFT ON FINAL. THE ACFT WAS STILL 5 MI OUT (BY MY ESTIMATION), SO I QUICKLY CROSSED 12R. AFTER CHKING FOR TFC ON THE TAXIWAYS, I TAXIED TO THE PARKING AREA AND SECURED THE ACFT. I DID SQUAWK 7600 AS SOON AS I REALIZED MY RADIO HAD FAILED.
