Narrative:
After takeoff left main landing gear would not fully retract. Blue hydraulic system gauge and left main gear light were fluctuating. We could also feel and hear that the left gear was not fully retracted. After about 15 or 20 seconds, all became normal. We returned to iah and landed.

Title: AFTER TKOF THE L MAIN LNDG GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF L MAIN LNDG GEAR WOULD NOT FULLY RETRACT. BLUE HYD SYS GAUGE AND L MAIN GEAR LIGHT WERE FLUCTUATING. WE COULD ALSO FEEL AND HEAR THAT THE L GEAR WAS NOT FULLY RETRACTED. AFTER ABOUT 15 OR 20 SECONDS, ALL BECAME NORMAL. WE RETURNED TO IAH AND LANDED.
