Narrative:
I had just shot the ILS to 14L at O'hare and clearing the runway on the highspd taxiway. I was instructed to cross 27R and contact ground on the other side. After contacting ground he instructed me to taxi across the inner bridge. When I started to taxi after contacting ground I inadvertently turned on the 9L/22R parallel and crossed the 14L hold line. As I was crossing the hold line I realized where I was and made a 180 degree turn and then turned back onto the 14L parallel. I then taxied to the ramp without further incident. I believe that the low visibility, rain, darkness, and inattn to the directional gyroscope were contributing factors. From now on when in doubt I will pay more attention to the directional gyroscope.

Title: ACR ON AFTER LNDG TAXI CROSSES HOLD LINE OF RWY. REVERSES COURSE.
Narrative: I HAD JUST SHOT THE ILS TO 14L AT O'HARE AND CLRING THE RWY ON THE HIGHSPD TAXIWAY. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO CROSS 27R AND CONTACT GND ON THE OTHER SIDE. AFTER CONTACTING GND HE INSTRUCTED ME TO TAXI ACROSS THE INNER BRIDGE. WHEN I STARTED TO TAXI AFTER CONTACTING GND I INADVERTENTLY TURNED ON THE 9L/22R PARALLEL AND CROSSED THE 14L HOLD LINE. AS I WAS XING THE HOLD LINE I REALIZED WHERE I WAS AND MADE A 180 DEG TURN AND THEN TURNED BACK ONTO THE 14L PARALLEL. I THEN TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. I BELIEVE THAT THE LOW VISIBILITY, RAIN, DARKNESS, AND INATTN TO THE DIRECTIONAL GYROSCOPE WERE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS. FROM NOW ON WHEN IN DOUBT I WILL PAY MORE ATTN TO THE DIRECTIONAL GYROSCOPE.
