Narrative:
On the takeoff roll, a slapping noise was heard on the fuselage. The takeoff was aborted. After returning to the departure gate, the gear pins were found to be installed. After removing the gear pins and receiving a new departure time, we continued to college station uneventfully. The major contributing factor was complacency and better checklist discipline would prevent recurrence. Supplemental information from acn 226933: complacency and interruptions during preflight inspections and checklists contributed to this occurrence. More diligence to duty is required.
