At 9000 ft on runway 4R localizer had low oil pressure warning light on #2 engine. Oil pressure gauge near 0 and oil quantity showing 6 percent. Elected precautionary shutdown of engine. Declared emergency. Completed appropriate checklists and executed ILS approach and landing on runway 4R boston.
