Air carrier X reported a TCASII target over the balance VOR. I informed him there was no observed traffic in his area. This one of numerous reports of inaccurate TCASII targets over balance throughout the day.

Narrative: ACR X RPTED A TCASII TARGET OVER THE BAL VOR. I INFORMED HIM THERE WAS NO OBSERVED TFC IN HIS AREA. THIS ONE OF NUMEROUS RPTS OF INACCURATE TCASII TARGETS OVER BAL THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
