Narrative:
On 12/wed/92, I was PIC on an aircraft that was taking off, which my copilot was at the controls. During the takeoff roll he disengaged the steering button which made the aircraft swerve towards the side of the runway. We never aborted the takeoff. I got the aircraft back on centerline and continued the takeoff.

Title: CAPT OF ATX LTT JET ACFT TOOK OVER THE ACFT CTL AFTER THE FO LOST CTL DURING THE TKOF ROLL DUE TO DISENGAGING THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING.
Narrative: ON 12/WED/92, I WAS PIC ON AN ACFT THAT WAS TAKING OFF, WHICH MY COPLT WAS AT THE CTLS. DURING THE TKOF ROLL HE DISENGAGED THE STEERING BUTTON WHICH MADE THE ACFT SWERVE TOWARDS THE SIDE OF THE RWY. WE NEVER ABORTED THE TKOF. I GOT THE ACFT BACK ON CTRLINE AND CONTINUED THE TKOF.
