Narrative:
Throughout the day, the WX was IFR with a ceiling of 300 ft or less, and prevailing visibility 1/2 most of the shift. The ground radar (airport surface detection equipment -- asde) was operable but useless. Today, there were no incidents to report but with the continued use of poor and faulty equipment an accident is bound to happen.

Title: ATC EQUIP PROB RADAR (ASDE) OPERATING BUT UNUSABLE.
Narrative: THROUGHOUT THE DAY, THE WX WAS IFR WITH A CEILING OF 300 FT OR LESS, AND PREVAILING VISIBILITY 1/2 MOST OF THE SHIFT. THE GND RADAR (ARPT SURFACE DETECTION EQUIP -- ASDE) WAS OPERABLE BUT USELESS. TODAY, THERE WERE NO INCIDENTS TO RPT BUT WITH THE CONTINUED USE OF POOR AND FAULTY EQUIP AN ACCIDENT IS BOUND TO HAPPEN.
