Narrative:
Upon completion of 3 day sequence while parking at gate 1 engine was left inadvertently running upon completion of parking checklist in an medium large transport. Factors besides pilot error on the checklist procedure (missed 1 fuel lever) were the crew was fatigued after trip from east coast to west coast and having awakened at XA45 ca time to go to work. There was also a delay hooking up external power to the aircraft and the captain did not chop the fuel. First officer missed this item on checklist.
