Narrative:
We landed safely at dubuque. The WX at the time was reported as 200 ft overcast with 1 1/2 mi of visibility, light freezing rain, and braking action poor. We proceeded from the runway to the company hangar with caution. We brought the aircraft to a complete stop at a distance we considered to be safe. We initiated the shutdown procedure and as captain brought the power levers out of reverse first officer pulled the propeller levers to feather at this point the aircraft slid forward hitting the hangar. The right propeller, radome, and left spinner hit the doors of the hangar causing damage to each. Possible corrective action would be to assure a clear area in front of the aircraft prior to shutdown and establish a procedure for shutdown when the brakes are ineffective (ramp was ice- covered).
