Narrative:
I was running the prestart in small aircraft x--had the toe brakes on, started the engine, plane rolled forward. The brakes couldn't grab, and I couldn't turn the plane quickly enough, it ran into the tail end of small aircraft Y. I did get my plane shut down before impact. I could have tried hand brake. Also, next time I will pull the plane out of line so it is not facing any other planes before I start the engine.
