Narrative:
Runway 15 was in use at the time. The runway surface had a light coating of snow. The taxi and runup were normal. I was aligned with the runway, power was fed in and the brakes were released at 2000 RPM's. After releasing the brakes the aircraft ran slightly left of centerline. I corrected with both right rudder and brake input. The aircraft continued on its path to the left. I then reduced power on the right engine to correct. The left main gear at that point was off the runway on the grass just left of the runway. The aircraft continued to the left and the left main gear soon hit the snowbank to the left of the runway. At that point I reduced power for an abort while still trying to get the aircraft to the right with right brake and rudder. I pulled the mixtures back as the aircraft's nosewheel caught the snowbank and the aircraft turned approximately 120 degrees to the left and came to rest.

Title: RWY EXCURSION BY ATX PLT IN SMT.
Narrative: RWY 15 WAS IN USE AT THE TIME. THE RWY SURFACE HAD A LIGHT COATING OF SNOW. THE TAXI AND RUNUP WERE NORMAL. I WAS ALIGNED WITH THE RWY, PWR WAS FED IN AND THE BRAKES WERE RELEASED AT 2000 RPM'S. AFTER RELEASING THE BRAKES THE ACFT RAN SLIGHTLY L OF CTRLINE. I CORRECTED WITH BOTH R RUDDER AND BRAKE INPUT. THE ACFT CONTINUED ON ITS PATH TO THE L. I THEN REDUCED PWR ON THE R ENG TO CORRECT. THE L MAIN GEAR AT THAT POINT WAS OFF THE RWY ON THE GRASS JUST L OF THE RWY. THE ACFT CONTINUED TO THE L AND THE L MAIN GEAR SOON HIT THE SNOWBANK TO THE L OF THE RWY. AT THAT POINT I REDUCED PWR FOR AN ABORT WHILE STILL TRYING TO GET THE ACFT TO THE R WITH R BRAKE AND RUDDER. I PULLED THE MIXTURES BACK AS THE ACFT'S NOSEWHEEL CAUGHT THE SNOWBANK AND THE ACFT TURNED APPROX 120 DEGS TO THE L AND CAME TO REST.
