Parked aircraft and began securing aircraft for deicing -- engines, packs, and APU off. Got as far as securing engines. APU packs on and aircraft started filling with smoke. We then continued securing aircraft and prepared to get passenger off airplane. Opened windows (cockpit) and forward door and had passenger get out onto ramp. No panic or other problems occurred.
