Narrative:
I was the captain on air carrier flight X from tul to dfw feb/sat/93. The flight seemed normal in every respect including taxi into the gate at dfw. On the afternoon of mar/mon/93 I was contacted by captain Z of the chief pilot's office informing me that damage was done to the #2 engine nacelle of aircraft Y during parking at dfw. This came as a surprise to me since I had no indication at the time that there had been a problem during parking. The parking guide-in lights were operating normally and were used for parking. The person operating the lights came to the cockpit shortly after the passenger had deplaned. We chatted for a few mins and he made no mention of the aircraft hitting anything during parking. Nothing was felt inside the aircraft to indicate we had hit anything during parking nor any other time. I feel quite confident that the very conscientious first officer would have mentioned it if he thought there had been any problem during parking.
