Narrative:

Advised to hold at shrew as published 15 mi legs expect further clearance XX21Z. FMC data base depicted hold right turns. We were at FL190. Entered hold with right turn when ZDV advised that we turned wrong way. We immediately made left turn to fix to intercept hold on correct side and verified with hi altitude chart that, in fact, hold was left turns. We were operating in the clear.
