Narrative:
As the first officer, am responsible for running the checklists, sometimes responding to them myself, sometimes the captain responds. We were running late after already having a trip cancelled. I ran the checklists up until we were cleared to hold short of the active, to takeoff next. I did the first officer flows and stopped short of turning off the bleeds (to continue air to the passenger), i.e., break the checklist. Ran the checklist and mentioned, holding the checklist at 'bleeds off' last item of checklist. We were cleared on for immediate takeoff, got talking on the radio concerning something, did not turn off the bleeds and, as a result, engine temperatures were out of limits after setting power, resulted in a rejected takeoff. No injuries, no mechanical problems afterwards. Oh yeah, I discovered the bleeds on as we were clearing the active. That's what I get for breaking the checklist. Supplemental information from acn 235984: following SOP better than modifying and adding another check (press, flap, bleed) that is not standard. If you think you ought to say something, say it, unless other higher priorities (emergencys) delay it.

Narrative: AS THE FO, AM RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING THE CHKLISTS, SOMETIMES RESPONDING TO THEM MYSELF, SOMETIMES THE CAPT RESPONDS. WE WERE RUNNING LATE AFTER ALREADY HAVING A TRIP CANCELLED.
