Narrative:
Aircraft was taxied away from terminal area with a mechanic on board for the purpose of engine run-up. A right turn was made to taxiway G with ATC permission for the purpose of a run-up on the left engine. Aircraft was taxied at normal speed. As aircraft neared the intersection even brakes were applied. Nose began to yaw right. Left nosewheel steering was applied to counteract but right yaw continued. Full left nosewheel steering was applied. At this point right wheel left taxiway and sunk 1 1/2 ft into mud. After aircraft shutdown and checklists were completed, mechanic surveyed aircraft damage. Right nosewheel tire was flat. Right propeller had grazed the concrete. I had let aircraft drift right to make a tight turn for engine run-up. I did not compensate for any type of act malfunctions. In the future I will maintain centerline on all txwys. I believe that the nose tire that blew out prevented me from keeping precise control. Had I stayed on the centerline tire would have not fallen off taxiway, even with the blown nosewheel tire.

Title: CAPT LOST CTL OF LTT ACR ACFT DURING TAXI DUE TO BLOWN NOSEWHEEL TIRE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE R PROP AND STRANDING THE ACFT N THE SIDE OF THE TXWY.
Narrative: ACFT WAS TAXIED AWAY FROM TERMINAL AREA WITH A MECH ON BOARD FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENG RUN-UP. A R TURN WAS MADE TO TXWY G WITH ATC PERMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF A RUN-UP ON THE L ENG. ACFT WAS TAXIED AT NORMAL SPD. AS ACFT NEARED THE INTXN EVEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED. NOSE BEGAN TO YAW R. L NOSEWHEEL STEERING WAS APPLIED TO COUNTERACT BUT R YAW CONTINUED. FULL L NOSEWHEEL STEERING WAS APPLIED. AT THIS POINT R WHEEL LEFT TXWY AND SUNK 1 1/2 FT INTO MUD. AFTER ACFT SHUTDOWN AND CHKLISTS WERE COMPLETED, MECH SURVEYED ACFT DAMAGE. R NOSEWHEEL TIRE WAS FLAT. R PROP HAD GRAZED THE CONCRETE. I HAD LET ACFT DRIFT R TO MAKE A TIGHT TURN FOR ENG RUN-UP. I DID NOT COMPENSATE FOR ANY TYPE OF ACT MALFUNCTIONS.
