Narrative:
I was performing touch and go operations at S50 with an instructor. During crosswind 2 aircraft were heard debating entry into pattern. Upon turning downwind, I announced being on downwind for runway 34 (active). One of the 2 aircraft has entered the pattern and is on downwind past midfield. The second aircraft is seen wbound in right bank and shortly announces being on the 45 degree for runway 34. Continuation of course would intersect or put him near behind. I began climbing turn to the left (towards field) the other aircraft now seeing me turned right (away from field) in descending turn.
