Narrative:

Passing through 10000 ft, 'cabin altitude' warnings sounded. Flight leveled at 10000. Aircraft packs were on but pressure control lever in manual, vice automatic. Had been called out 'automatic' by captain on pre-start checklist and I still think it was because I remember looking right at it (may have made an error). Neither pilot remembers any unusual ear pressure release due to climb, but that may be due to distraction of troubleshooting third altimeter, which had been grossly 'hanging up' and lagging by as much as 1000 ft (vibrator circuit breaker had popped). Cabin pressurized and flight continued.

Title: CABIN ALT WARNING SOUNDS AT 10000 FT.

Narrative: PASSING THROUGH 10000 FT, 'CABIN ALT' WARNINGS SOUNDED. FLT LEVELED AT 10000. ACFT PACKS WERE ON BUT PRESSURE CTL LEVER IN MANUAL, VICE AUTO. HAD BEEN CALLED OUT 'AUTO' BY CAPT ON PRE-START CHKLIST AND I STILL THINK IT WAS BECAUSE I REMEMBER LOOKING RIGHT AT IT (MAY HAVE MADE AN ERROR). NEITHER PLT REMEMBERS ANY UNUSUAL EAR PRESSURE RELEASE DUE TO CLB, BUT THAT MAY BE DUE TO DISTR OF TROUBLESHOOTING THIRD ALTIMETER, WHICH HAD BEEN GROSSLY 'HANGING UP' AND LAGGING BY AS MUCH AS 1000 FT (VIBRATOR CB HAD POPPED). CABIN PRESSURIZED AND FLT CONTINUED.
