Narrative:
We were pushed out from the gate and then pulled forward on the ramp parallel to the runway prior to starting engines. A normal start was completed and taxi requested. Ground control told us to expedite to the runway and into position for takeoff. I pushed the power up to get the aircraft going and then closed the throttles (estimated 2000 pounds fuel flow). Upon arrival at rdu I was then informed that jet blast damage to a pilot's door on a smaller aircraft had been reported. I did not know of any aircraft to my rear at the time of taxi, and the instructions to expedite gave me no cause to suspect otherwise. The ramp at gcm had no parking position depicted to my rear. This event was alleged to be caused by my aircraft, but there were no other witnesses and was not reported for about an hour. The ramp gates were all occupied and other aircraft could have departed in that time. I do not know the type of aircraft that reported the damage and also I'm not in possession of all the facts yet.

Title: SMA ACFT DAMAGE FROM DEP LGT. JET BLAST ENCOUNTER.
Narrative: WE WERE PUSHED OUT FROM THE GATE AND THEN PULLED FORWARD ON THE RAMP PARALLEL TO THE RWY PRIOR TO STARTING ENGS. A NORMAL START WAS COMPLETED AND TAXI REQUESTED. GND CTL TOLD US TO EXPEDITE TO THE RWY AND INTO POS FOR TKOF. I PUSHED THE PWR UP TO GET THE ACFT GOING AND THEN CLOSED THE THROTTLES (ESTIMATED 2000 LBS FUEL FLOW). UPON ARR AT RDU I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT JET BLAST DAMAGE TO A PLT'S DOOR ON A SMALLER ACFT HAD BEEN RPTED. I DID NOT KNOW OF ANY ACFT TO MY REAR AT THE TIME OF TAXI, AND THE INSTRUCTIONS TO EXPEDITE GAVE ME NO CAUSE TO SUSPECT OTHERWISE. THE RAMP AT GCM HAD NO PARKING POS DEPICTED TO MY REAR. THIS EVENT WAS ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED BY MY ACFT, BUT THERE WERE NO OTHER WITNESSES AND WAS NOT RPTED FOR ABOUT AN HR. THE RAMP GATES WERE ALL OCCUPIED AND OTHER ACFT COULD HAVE DEPARTED IN THAT TIME. I DO NOT KNOW THE TYPE OF ACFT THAT RPTED THE DAMAGE AND ALSO I'M NOT IN POSSESSION OF ALL THE FACTS YET.
