Narrative:
While taxiing out for takeoff runway 36R dfw, tower reported to us that another aircraft reported seeing smoke from our right main gear area. Since we had a new brake on the #4 wheel, we disregarded report and told tower that we had a new brake and that new brakes often produce smoke until the protective coating burns away. After being cleared for takeoff captain applied takeoff power and then discontinued takeoff at approximately 60 KTS because of a 'dragging, no accelerating' feeling. Returned to gate for maintenance and maintenance personnel corrected problem as follows: 'bled all 4 main brakes. Found excessive air in #4 main. Jacked both gears and made precautionary check. All brakes check ok. Ok for service.' while taxiing back to gate we did not set parking brake and we warned maintenance personnel to approach with care. After maintenance, we continued trip and all was normal

Title: ACR LGT ABORTS TKOF ACCOUNT LACK OF ACCELERATION.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING OUT FOR TKOF RWY 36R DFW, TWR RPTED TO US THAT ANOTHER ACFT RPTED SEEING SMOKE FROM OUR R MAIN GEAR AREA. SINCE WE HAD A NEW BRAKE ON THE #4 WHEEL, WE DISREGARDED RPT AND TOLD TWR THAT WE HAD A NEW BRAKE AND THAT NEW BRAKES OFTEN PRODUCE SMOKE UNTIL THE PROTECTIVE COATING BURNS AWAY. AFTER BEING CLRED FOR TKOF CAPT APPLIED TKOF PWR AND THEN DISCONTINUED TKOF AT APPROX 60 KTS BECAUSE OF A 'DRAGGING, NO ACCELERATING' FEELING. RETURNED TO GATE FOR MAINT AND MAINT PERSONNEL CORRECTED PROB AS FOLLOWS: 'BLED ALL 4 MAIN BRAKES. FOUND EXCESSIVE AIR IN #4 MAIN. JACKED BOTH GEARS AND MADE PRECAUTIONARY CHK. ALL BRAKES CHK OK. OK FOR SVC.' WHILE TAXIING BACK TO GATE WE DID NOT SET PARKING BRAKE AND WE WARNED MAINT PERSONNEL TO APCH WITH CARE. AFTER MAINT, WE CONTINUED TRIP AND ALL WAS NORMAL
