Narrative:
No ATC clearance was received prior to departure. Ground control did not question our request for taxi and tower did clear us for takeoff. A last min aircraft switch rushed our checklist and the last crew left their squawk in the transponder. As our checklist called for transponder it was checked and set.

Title: FLC FAILED TO QUERY ACARS FOR ATC CLRNC AND TOOK OFF WITHOUT AIRWAYS CLRNC.
Narrative: NO ATC CLRNC WAS RECEIVED PRIOR TO DEP. GND CTL DID NOT QUESTION OUR REQUEST FOR TAXI AND TWR DID CLR US FOR TKOF. A LAST MIN ACFT SWITCH RUSHED OUR CHKLIST AND THE LAST CREW LEFT THEIR SQUAWK IN THE XPONDER. AS OUR CHKLIST CALLED FOR XPONDER IT WAS CHKED AND SET.
