Narrative:
I made a VFR approach and proper entry to runway 15 at kissimmee, fl. This is the longest and most used runway. I called in a report on downwind, base leg, and final on what I thought was the CTAF 122.7. I did not receive any response, but this is not unusual at an uncontrolled field. On final approach I observed another aircraft landing on runway 6. However, this aircraft was down and holding short before I landed on 15. After landing, I learned the local CTAF is 122.72 and that my xmissions had not been received. There was no close call nor dangerous incident involved.
