Primary Problem | Aircraft |
Narrative:
Aircraft had dual engine failure -- cause unknown. Rear engine began to run rough, fuel pressure dropped, boost pump didn't help. Feathered rear engine. 5 mins later front engine had same problem, had 1/4 fuel in tanks (about 10 gallons per side). Feathered front engine after I got gear down (hydraulic gear). Requested vectors to mnm, landed with no power. Aircraft sat on ramp for approximately 45 mins/engines both started and ran fine. Put 300 gallons of fuel in each maintenance tank, tanks were full (each tank holds 45 gallons). Causes -- vapor lock or ice in fuel lines possibly. Aircraft was sumped that morning -- some water noted and drained until clear of water. Flown at FL210 for 4 hours, 25 degree F temperature at FL210. Flew aircraft to base for maintenance check, found nothing abnormal.
