Narrative:
Upon departure captain's window hatch was unsecured and blew open. He retarded throttles and aborted takeoff. First officer told ATC we were aborted. We secured hatch and taxied as instructed to opposite end (since they turned airport around). We then took off without further incident on runway 9R.

Title: PLT SLIDING WINDOW NOT LATCHED ON TKOF. TKOF ABORTED.
Narrative: UPON DEP CAPT'S WINDOW HATCH WAS UNSECURED AND BLEW OPEN. HE RETARDED THROTTLES AND ABORTED TKOF. FO TOLD ATC WE WERE ABORTED. WE SECURED HATCH AND TAXIED AS INSTRUCTED TO OPPOSITE END (SINCE THEY TURNED ARPT AROUND). WE THEN TOOK OFF WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT ON RWY 9R.
