Narrative:
Took off from clover park airstrip (S37) en route to renton municipal (rnt). Upon becoming airborne I experienced radio failure so I returned to clover park to fix the problem. I got problem fixed and returned to renton (rnt) for a CFI check ride with FAA inspector. Upon landing I realized that I had failed to fasten seat belt harness. The inspector failed me on all portions of the test. Upon returning to clover park I made sure that the radios were working and that I had my shoulder harness on.
