Narrative:
On final approach to runway 23R we were cleared to land by ind tower. We then questioned tower as to the intentions of an aircraft we noted on our TCASII display behind and to our right. Tower said he was going to follow us visually, and turn in behind us. On a subsequent telephone call to ind tower chief regarding this matter, he said tower tapes confirmed that we had been cleared for the approach to, and cleared to land on runway 23R. He said there was some sort of mixup in the instructions to the light transport that led him to believe we were going to runway 23L. He did not elaborate, except to say that approach did confirm that the light transport had us in sight visually.
