Narrative:

Sfo approach was conducting parallel visual approachs to runways 28L and 28R. My (widebody transport aircraft) was vectored to a right base and a right intercept for 28R. An air carrier large transport aircraft was vectored to a straight-in visual 28L approach. We joined together on the approach wingtip to wingtip. My TCASII went crazy with 'traffic! Traffic!, pull up, pull up, etc.' we had to turn it off. I was very uncomfortable with the approach and will not do it again. Possibly, sfo approach should not put large aircraft wingtip to wingtip to 28L and 28R.

Title: FLC OF A WDB ACR ACFT TOOK EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID ANOTHER ACFT ON FINAL FOR THE OTHER PARALLEL RWY DUE TO TCASII RA AND JUDGEMENT OF MAINTAINING VISUAL SEPARATION.

Narrative: SFO APCH WAS CONDUCTING PARALLEL VISUAL APCHS TO RWYS 28L AND 28R. MY (WDB ACFT) WAS VECTORED TO A R BASE AND A R INTERCEPT FOR 28R. AN ACR LGT ACFT WAS VECTORED TO A STRAIGHT-IN VISUAL 28L APCH. WE JOINED TOGETHER ON THE APCH WINGTIP TO WINGTIP. MY TCASII WENT CRAZY WITH 'TFC! TFC!, PULL UP, PULL UP, ETC.' WE HAD TO TURN IT OFF. I WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE APCH AND WILL NOT DO IT AGAIN. POSSIBLY, SFO APCH SHOULD NOT PUT LARGE ACFT WINGTIP TO WINGTIP TO 28L AND 28R.
