Narrative:

On descent to atl turning to avoid thunderstorms. Made call to flight attendants and told them to secure cabin and situation down because of thunderstorms ahead (5-10 mins). 5 mins later, made PA to passenger and crew and told them to check seat belts and remain seated due to thunderstorms ahead. About 5 mins later, hit moderate to severe turbulence for about 10-15 seconds. Later, flight attendants notified me they had been 'shook up' by turbulence and some minor injuries. Landed without further incident and got paramedics for flight attendants. Flight attendants had not taken seats as instructed. (Said they were still cleaning up cabin for landing.) 1 flight attendant had possible broken wrist.
