Narrative:
Air carrier X was instructed by den approach to climb from 9000 ft to 10000 ft. At approximately 9500 ft we received a TCASII TA followed by a crossover climb RA due to an air carrier Y also at 10000 ft. The RA went to increase climb as we passed directly over the intruder. Air carrier Y executed a crossover descent. TCASII clearly saved the day. Vertical separation was reduced to less than 300 ft.

Title: ACR X CLB TO OCCUPIED ALT HAD NMAC LTSS WITH ACR Y. SYS ERROR. TCASII RA EVASIVE ACTION TAKEN.
Narrative: ACR X WAS INSTRUCTED BY DEN APCH TO CLB FROM 9000 FT TO 10000 FT. AT APPROX 9500 FT WE RECEIVED A TCASII TA FOLLOWED BY A CROSSOVER CLB RA DUE TO AN ACR Y ALSO AT 10000 FT. THE RA WENT TO INCREASE CLB AS WE PASSED DIRECTLY OVER THE INTRUDER. ACR Y EXECUTED A CROSSOVER DSCNT. TCASII CLEARLY SAVED THE DAY. VERT SEPARATION WAS REDUCED TO LESS THAN 300 FT.
