Narrative:
Aircraft large transport landing weight 130000 pounds. After a smooth landing I let the aircraft roll, tapped brakes to make sure they worked (less than 100 KTS). Continued to roll to turnoff point. Tower said they saw smoke off of one of the wheels and asked if we wanted the fire equipment. We suspected a momentary brake drag. Tower then said the smoke was dissipating. As we proceeded, tower said they saw more smoke from the wheel but by this time we were practically on the gate already.
