Narrative:
Climbing above 2000 ft to 2500 ft 5 mi south of melbourne airport. A military fighter jet crossed in front and to my right of us in an approximately 30 degree bank, turning from west to an approach into patrick air force base (I figure). The aircraft was approximately 500 ft in front of us and 100 ft above our altitudes which was approximately 2200 ft MSL at the time and climbing.

Narrative: CLBING ABOVE 2000 FT TO 2500 FT 5 MI S OF MELBOURNE ARPT. A MIL FIGHTER JET CROSSED IN FRONT AND TO MY R OF US IN AN APPROX 30 DEG BANK, TURNING FROM W TO AN APCH INTO PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE (I FIGURE). THE ACFT WAS APPROX 500 FT IN FRONT OF US AND 100 FT ABOVE OUR ALTS WHICH WAS APPROX 2200 FT MSL AT THE TIME AND CLBING.
